What a peculiar scoreboard!

This interesting, probably early 20th century, postcard came from Australia (thus the palm trees) and was marked 'cricket pavilion' on its rear. But what about the scoreboard? If it was a cricket pavilion, how would the scoring work? And if it wasn't a cricket pavilion, then what sport was being played? I wondered about polo, but apparently not. Then I thought of Aussie rules football, and maybe that would fit, as you have to count goals, 'behinds' and total points - but then you'd need two groups of three clock-face scoring mechanisms. Asking the wisdom of X(formerly Twitter) - usually a banker - produced no results. Any ideas?
